Rocky Road Recipe

I have never been one for cooking or baking. However, when I was organising a picnic I decided it would be such a nice change to bring something that I actually made. I wanted a super easy, no muss, no fuss recipe that would not require an oven.

So I decided to go for Rocky Road!

What it is suppose to look like

This sweet treat is an absolute classic and it's familiar so a guaranteed winner amongst everyone!

Ingredients

• 200 G marshmallows chopped

• 500 G Cadbury Baking milk chocolate

• 1/2 chopped peanuts

• 1/4 desiccated coconut

• 110 G Allens ripe raspberries lollies. Turkish delight can also be used as an alternative, however it can be difficult to find

Kitchen Tools

• X1 large bowl

• X1 Baking paper

• X1 Tin pan

Procedure

1. Gather all kitchen tools

2. line baking paper in the slice tin

3. Melt Baking milk chocolate in a bowl

4. Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly

5. Carefully pour mixture into the tin

6. Refrigerate until set

Be sure to:

• Maintain the right marshmallow to chocolate ratio. We don't want it to be too soft.

• Use the correct size tray. If it is too big, the rocky road will become very thin.

• Remain positive! it's easy to mess up any recipe no matter how simple, however a solid 98% of the time there is a solution. Don't fret :)
