Christmas and Cash

Updated: Jan 1, 2022

So the Christmas season is almost over and it sure has been an expensive one. It got me thinking about how it would helpful if I could obtain more money, but how? Well one word came to mind: Facebook

So I found myself watching The social network last week and I realised two things;

  1. The guy who created Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, is a full on billionaire.

  2. Andrew Garfield deserves an Oscar just for his face. I mean that guy is good looking.

Anywho, if I could come up with just one life changing idea I could be a billionaire too! What makes me any different to Mark? Just because I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed or I don't know my way around any fancy computers doesn't mean I am any less capable of providing innovation.

While I won't reveal any of my supreme innovative ideas, I can safely say I've got some good schemes I'm juggling in my brain. Schemes to better the lives of others. I'm all about that selflessness.

There are easy ways to make money, even if its small pocket money. A classic garage sale never goes astray. However, we cannot forget we have the power of the internet at our fingertips! create a YouTube channel or start a blog just like I have and there is a chance that overtime you can acquire some money.

But I will advise you when creating something make sure it is something you have a solid knowledge of. Don't create a crocheting YouTube channel if you don't know how to crotchet, that's ridiculous.

But can we honestly take a moment to appreciate Andrew Garfield? He is golden and can do no wrong.

Fingers crossed this Christmas will be solid and a whole lot better than last years. I have passed both units for University this semester which has been the big confidence boost I may just need to continue my course next year and it should make Christmas a little bit more enjoyable.

I understand that Christmas can be a daunting time for some people. If you're struggling, reach out. If you're not struggling, reach out to somebody else. Someone may need someone else and all of us should use this festive holiday as a time to catch up with others and even take the opportunity to meet some new people.

One more thing about Andrew Garfield: he's just so versatile. I love it.

In conclusion,

I am not Mark Zuckerberg.

Merry Christmas everyone!
