A little bit about me
Hey, I’m Sarah. Welcome to A Dose of Sarahtonin!
I'm a girl in her twenties living in Sydney, navigating adulthood, trying new things, and documenting the chaos along the way.

I started this blog back in 2021 when I was 19: stuck in lockdown, overwhelmed, and desperately trying to figure out who I was and what I wanted from life. Career-wise, everything felt blurry. Emotionally, life was just… a lot. So instead of seeing a therapist, I did what any self-aware overthinker might do: I started writing about it on the internet.

Since then, it’s become my space to spill thoughts, share funny stories, and make sense of the things that don’t always make sense. I write about uni life, growing pains, quarter-life crises, and everything in between.

When I’m not blogging, I’m probably quoting Kath and Kim, dancing at themed club nights (absolutely no doof-doof allowed), or rewatching childhood shows that still hit (Hannah Montana, I’m looking at you).
I’m embarrassed to admit I’m still on my L’s but on the bright side, I’m a certified bus-route savant. Give me a bus number and I’ll tell you where it goes.
I live for chicken nuggets, hate cardio with a passion, and while I’ve never liked coffee (I know, shocking), I’ll down a hot chocolate like it’s a fine wine.

I’m not a big reader (unless it’s a menu), not a fan of running (unless I’m late), and I’ll politely pass on anything green and leafy. But I do love dumplings, pop culture references, and unhinged trivia nights.

I’m currently studying Performing Arts and Entertainment Industries. People love to tell me it’s impractical but I love it anyway (I’m stubborn like that).
This blog is a space for oversharing, overthinking, and making life feel a little lighter.
So welcome! I hope you find something here that makes you feel seen or at the very least, mildly entertained.
